Hey there, I'm Kiran!

I’m a UX/UI Designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a strong passion for creating well-crafted, mobile-centric experiences. My background is in Computer Science, which gives me a better perspective on UX/UI as it allows me to craft visual designs and mockups with the development aspect already in mind. I also have prior experience working in the UX/UI field at a Loadtap (now rebranded as Chaine), and Nestingale.

While studying CS in college I always took on all the UX/UI portion of my school projects. After graduating a getting a job as a web dev, the technicality of it felt somewhat lacking compared to what I've always seemed passionate about. During the Covid lockdown, being forced to work from home gave me a lot of time to think about what I wanted to really do with my life, and after some soul searching I decided a career path in UX/UI was where my heart truly was.

I am currently pursuing a masters in Human Computer Interaction at RIT and am looking for a role in the web app or product design space to utilize my skills and enhance user experiences within mobile, tablet, and web-based devices.
